Man, 62, found dead at Grantville apartment after reported fight with sister
Lights on a police car Photo by Alexander Nguyen Times of San Diego A -year-old man was exposed dead inside a Grantville apartment Thursday night following a shared altercation with his sister according to San Diego police Law enforcement responded around p m Thursday to a disturbance at Rancho Mission Road after receiving reports of items being broken and a woman allegedly beating her brother with a stick Officers arrived eight minutes later and revealed the man unresponsive in the living room Despite efforts by officers and medics to revive him he was pronounced dead at the scene Police noted signs of a violent struggle but saw no immediate life-threatening injuries The Health Examiner s Office will determine the official cause of death The victim a Pacific Islander has not been publicly identified The victim s -year-old sister also a Pacific Islander fled before officers arrived and is considered a person of interest Her name has not been published Anyone with information is urged to contact the San Diego Police Homicide Unit at - or Crime Stoppers at -
